As an Assistant Store Manager at Huk Gear, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day functions of the store while fostering a positive and high-energy environment among the staff. Your leadership capabilities and dedication to providing excellent customer service will contribute to our mission of delivering the best experience for our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop employees to deliver exceptional performance and customer service.
  • Ensure that store merchandising meets company standards and reflects the Huk brand.
  • Support inventory management processes, including stock control, sales reporting, and replenishment.
  • Drive sales by engaging customers and understanding their needs.
  • Coordinate with the Store Manager on training and performance evaluations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.

Job Type:

  • Full-time

Compensation:

  • $16 to $18 per hour based on relevant experience

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling, with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours
  • Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts as required



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years of retail experience, prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales goals
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze sales and operational data effectively
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks related to maintaining the store
