Job Purpose
The Service Manager – HVAC Solutions is responsible for leading a responsive service operations team focused on resolving clients' HVAC system issues promptly and cost-effectively. This role oversees the end-to-end delivery of service solutions, ensures high-quality customer support, fosters strong relationships with clients and vendors, and drives operational efficiency in alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Workflow Oversight: Directs the daily operations of a reactive HVAC service team, ensuring efficient task assignment and timely resolution of client issues in alignment with service-level KPIs.
- Financial & Operational Management: Manages HVAC service revenues ranging from $10M–$20M nationally, overseeing all related work orders and ensuring compliance with company and client objectives.
- Client & Vendor Relations: Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, offering insights on HVAC system improvements and approving bids up to $100K without supervisor approval.
- Escalation & Work Order Prioritization: Leads the triage of escalations, new projects, and status updates; prioritizes work orders based on urgency, staffing, and historical context to meet client needs effectively.
- Training & Team Development: Conducts onboarding and continuous training for supervisory staff, facilitates regular team meetings, and drives team engagement through structured development and team-building initiatives.

Requirements
- Experience in HVAC Service Management: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience resolving commercial HVAC issues, preferably within a facilities or property management environment.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and general trades, with a strong ability to assess, troubleshoot, and guide resolution efforts.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred; additional relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Technology & Systems Proficiency: Proficient in CRM platforms and service management tools, with strong skills in data entry, scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Analytical & Project Leadership Skills: Proven ability to assess complex service challenges, develop actionable solutions, and implement improvements; PMP and Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
