Job Description
The Role:
The Customer Supply Chain Senior Planner is an integral role between sales and operational teams as well as customers and our fulfilment partners. Key priorities will be to support our ambitious plans through operational efficiency, delivering exceptional service, building strong relationships with our customers, and developing processes as needed for any new retailers or new markets. We are looking for someone with a breadth of supply chain experience who is an excellent communicator and relationship builder, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into operational detail but can also identify and address long-term challenges in a fast-growing business.
Role Accountabilities:
Review, process, and report on weekly purchase orders from retailers. Advise warehouses on shipping priorities and instructions to ensure a seamless process from order dispatch to retailer receipt.
Assess PO process and trends by retailer to find most effective way to process orders, maximize fill rates and deliver savings to the business.
Understand and maintain catalogue status communicating to retailer any ranges discontinued, back in stock dates, and launch or allocation orders.
Build and maintain effective relationships with key cross-functional teams to enable collaborative relationships and aligned forward forecasts.
Have a strong awareness of short term commercial and marketing activities which could have impacts on the effectiveness of the operations and pro-actively manage these business requirements with the support of key stakeholders.
Clearly communicate our weekly gross order value, shortages, and any sku management issues needed for resolution, to ensure we are meeting financial sell-in commitments per retailer.
Anticipate orders to be received over the next 2 months according to retailer signals and proactively review and prepare capability to fill to the maximum level.
Proactively analyse optimal inventory levels at the retailer and callout opportunities and risks found.
Accountable for vendor compliance issues taking part in the swift action to reduce, dispute, or adapt processes to avoid financial penalties.
Facilitate retailer returns process from RA through to received at the warehouse, and suggest process recommendations as needed.
Understand operational weaknesses and highlight/implement solutions to improve customer service and delivery efficiencies.
Reporting Relationships:
Reporting into Customer Supply Chain Manager
Key Selection Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
Minimum of 3-5 years Supply Chain planning related experience
Experience in a customer facing role within a logistics or supply chain capacity
Experience managing logistics providers and able to demonstrate experience in driving operational performance improvement, with an understanding of budget management for logistics costs
Able to demonstrate real examples of taking ownership of projects/improvements right through to the end result
Understanding and commercial awareness of the total supply chain including supply and demand planning
Able to demonstrate examples of building and improving customer relationships
Showing outstanding attention to detail, identifying and addressing anomalies quickly
Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable, someone IT savvy who is able to bring experience of improved information sharing both internally and externally would be a real benefit

Base Salary Range $85,000-$95,000**
