Job Description

Pay based on experience | First Shift

In this fast-paced, high-energy environment where great guest service is essential, how do we ensure all of our food and beverage guests are happy with our service? As a F&B Project Specialist, you will have a genuine passion for guest service, top notch organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  • *In coordination with F&B Leadership, serve as the primary contact for projects, working with all necessary parties to coordinate and see projects through to completion, communicating deadlines met or issues that arise.
  • *Own and update project management documents such as the project plan, schedule, and tracking sheets to maintain all necessary information concerning projects.
  • *Collaborate with sponsors and other stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives of projects, in collaboration with F&B Senior Leadership Team.
  • *Facilitate project status meetings and facilitate communication between F&B Senior Leadership and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • *Problem solve and troubleshoot project issues and barriers, in conjunction with F&B Senior Leadership and other F&B team members.
  • *Manage projects into actionable items and timeframes to meet project deadlines.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with project schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of project management experience in an organization of similar size are required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Project Management is preferred and can take the place of one year of experience.
  • Understanding of the Hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard office equipment and general working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with project management software and proficiency with collaboration tools.
  • The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • The ability to interact with and understand the interests of stakeholders at all levels, as well as the impact of those interests on PH&C and its goals.
  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
