Industry Principal, Technology & AI

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Industry Principal of Technology and AI to evangelize RealPage's technical innovations in our multifamily SaaS platform. This role will serve as the primary subject matter expert on emerging technologies, including AI, process evolution, data securityand workflows, and how they can be applied to solve the evolving needs of the multifamily housing industry.

You will partner across product, engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing to ensure our platform leverages the most impactful, scalable technologies while staying tightly aligned to industry-specific problems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Industry Strategy & Vision: Spearhead the role of AI and emerging tech in the multifamily ecosystem and translate that into long-term platform strategy for prospects & clients.
• Thought Leadership: Serve as an external and internal evangelist for innovation, representing the company at industry events, customer briefings, and on executive panels.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor emerging trends in AI, PropTech, automation, and data analytics to anticipate disruption and guide strategic roadmaps.
• Product Innovation: Collaborate with product management and engineering to define technology-driven solutions that solve real-world operator, resident and owner pain points.
• Customer Insights: Partner with client success and sales to gather direct feedback on needs and identify opportunities for AI to enhance business performance across the resident lifecycle.
• Internal Enablement: Translate complex AI/ML & technology concepts into clear, value-driven business use cases for cross-function teams.
• Launch Readiness: Support launches and go-to-market strategies to ensure successful market entry and growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in PropTech, Saas, or multifamily real estate technology
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML, SaaS capabilities, data infrastructure, and automation tools
• Strong familiarity with multifamily operations, tech stacks, and industry specific KPIs
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives at the intersection of business and technology
• Outstanding communication and executive presence; ability to influence senior stakeholders and customers
• Thought leader with a track record of speaking, writing, or advising on industry innovation

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to travel as needed to client, prospect and trade events
• Strong presentation skills and an ability to succinctly and fluently present complex ideas in an easy-to-understand way, and an ability to present via in-person meetings, web meetings, and webcasts or videos
