Job Description
TAMKO is seeking a Contractor Sales Specialist for the Central Arkansas territory, based in Little Rock, Arkansas. This individual promotes TAMKO's full line of roofing products to contractors, builders, architects, and other key decision-makers across the region. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to train and support contractors in the field. The Contractor Sales Specialist works closely with Territory Managers and distributor partners to execute a strategy focused on growing contractor engagement and product demand.

- Promote TAMKO products to contractors, builders, architects, and key influencers throughout the Central Arkansas region.
- Drive contractor engagement in the TAMKO Edge Loyalty Program, including onboarding, education, and field support with warranty registration and program participation.
- Inspect residential and commercial roofing projects and provide technical installation guidance.
- Train contractors and crews in proper roofing application techniques through hands-on demonstrations.
- Conduct contractor meetings and present TAMKO product and system information to groups or individuals.
- Write reports and correspondence related to contractor visits, training sessions, and jobsite observations.
- Coordinate and support jobsite visits, contractor training, and distributor events in the field.
- Compile and maintain contractor lead lists using CRM, distributor referrals, and industry sources.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support existing and prospective contractors.
- Represent TAMKO at industry trade shows, distributor open houses, and training events.
- Maintain up-to-date records of contractor activity using CRM tools and collaborate with Territory Managers and inside sales support.
- Coordinate literature, product samples, displays, and training materials for use in the field.
- Address contractor questions, feedback, or concerns related to product usage or field performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license. Required travel by vehicle and air transportation in and out of assigned territory. Position requires overnight stays away from home.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include acuity sufficient for driving, rooftop inspection, minimal color discrimination, and accurate depth perception.
- Frequent extended work hours.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; field environments include rooftops, job sites, distributor branches, and training venues.
