Job Description

- Works with County Commissioners, Precinct staff, City staff, Municipal Utility Districts, Homeowners Associations, Developers, and other groups to develop Agreements. Document and determine business points and financing for the Agreements.
- Coordinate Agreement development and approval with County Attorney's Office.
- Obtain approval of Agreement from outside Parties.
- Coordinate placing Agreement on a Commissioners Court agenda for final approval.
- Maintains uniform, orderly records along with the Development Group, Mobility Group, and County Attorney's Office.
- Coordinate with GIS Group to place Agreement information on GIS map.
- Track Project development and monitor fulfillment of obligations by the County and the outside Party.
- Assists the County Engineer in maintaining communication between the County and the Toll Road Authorities.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate County managers.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED; 2 years of college level courses.
- 5 years of experience in related field working in contract development, technical writing, negotiations, and/or project development.
- Communication and conflict resolution skills to explain projects.
- Extensive knowledge of computers and software such as databases, spreadsheets and word processors.
- Ability to read subdivision general plans; ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $35.42 - $44.28 hourly based on qualifications
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
