Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $68,811.60 - $75,010.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Lu Lab has a new postdoc position open for a motivated individual looking to
develop and lead a project examining how inflammatory skin responses in lupus regulates the
stromal microenvironment and immunity in draining lymph nodes. Please see our papers and

We are at the Hospital for Special Surgery Research Institute, part of the renowned Hospital for Special Surgery, a specialized Rheumatology and Orthopedics hospital that is top ranked by US World and New Report. We also belong to the Weill Cornell Medical School in New York City and an active part of the Weill Cornell
Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis graduate program. Interested applicants should have a PhD,

EDUCATION REQUIRED
Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree, a background in cellular and molecular immunology, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. High level of motivation and the ability to think critically are expected.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Proficient in the use of computers and software, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Technical proficiency and ability to work independently.
Analytical skills.
SKILLS PREFERRED
- Knowledge of Orthopedic and/or Rheumatologic terminology is a plus.
