Job Description

Primary Purpose of the job: Computer systems/data base management that will ensure the highest quality, uninterrupted service to participants in both the Health and Pension Trust Funds. The Jr. Systems and Data Associate will assist with planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling and managing all aspects of routine computer system operation and peripherals.
 
Daily Job Duties:
 
1.         Eligibility file run for Beacon
2.         Demographic corrections on the system based on produced reports
3.         Assist with tasks within each department
4.         Handle system issues
4.         Research work for various reporting       
 
Weekly Job Duties:
 
1.         Positive Pay files for Disability
2.             Upload Claims reports from Beacon into U drive for printing and distribution (Friday)
3.             COBRA termination file (approx. every two weeks on 1st and 16th of the month)
 
Monthly Job Duties:  
 
1.         Month End Reports – COBRA Eligibility loss report 
2.         ACH to ABOC – monthly pension benefit 
3.         Positive Pay file to ABOC for pension
4.         Add/Drop Report for eligibility
5.         Eligibility file for UHS using File Zilla
8.         Active working turning 64 during the calendar year
9.         Mail merge labels for Newly Eligibles 
 
Quarterly – Assist with the following tasks:
 
1.             Death Verification Reports to PBI (retirees and deferred vested)
2.             Create CMS eligibility on 22nd
3.             Produces FICA reports for selected employers, created on Insight and emailed
 
Annual – Assist with the following tasks.
 
1.             Produce reports for CPA for annual audits
2.             Actuarial data for consultant
3.             Mailing lists (Welfare SAR, Annual Funding, Pension Dept. letters)
4.             Year End Processing – IRS filings Pension and Welfare 1099R’s and 1095B’s
5.             SSA to CPA
6.             CAA RxDC report
 
Occasional Job Duties:
 
1.             Additional reporting for pension and/or other departments
2.             Produce mailing labels and lists as required (or data file to be sent to mailing service)
3.             Generate reports for Fund Manager and/or other departments as needed
4           Create/modify Insight reports 

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
