ProMach's Financial Shared Services Organization is seeking a talented Sr. Manager, Invoice-to-Cash (I2C). This position reports to the Sr. Director, Financial Shared Services and oversees Accounts Receivable services for North America Finance Operations. The Financial Shared Services Organization is a USA-based, onshore operation. This position is located in Charlotte, NC, and relocation assistance is available.

The Sr. Manager, Invoice-to-Cash will lead the North American Accounts Receivable operations, with accountability for billing, collections, dispute resolution, and cash application. This strategic and operational leadership role requires deep knowledge of financial processes, systems, and controls to drive continuous improvement, optimize cash flow, enhance customer experience, and manage team performance. The ideal candidate brings both analytical rigor and collaborative leadership to transform and scale the I2C function from front to back office.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the full Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) lifecycle, including invoicing, collections, dispute resolution, and cash application

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve working capital, reduce overdue receivables, and optimize days sales outstanding (DSO)

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence

  • Serve as a key escalation point, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to resolve complex service delivery issues and drive sustainable solutions

Performance Management

  • Monitor performance against established service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient, accurate, and customer-focused operations

  • Oversee third-party service providers to ensure quality, adherence to contractual terms, and effective use of automation

  • Ensure the timely execution of invoicing, dispute management, payment follow-up, and cash application activities

  • Collaborate with internal collections and customer service teams to proactively manage high-risk accounts and support strategic initiatives

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on standardization, simplification, and scalability of I2C operations

  • Partner cross-functionally with upstream stakeholders to align and optimize end-to-end customer-to-cash workflows

  • Drive the implementation of digital tools and automation, including ERP enhancements and new cash application solutions

  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset across the organization, encouraging innovation and data-driven decision-making

Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain ownership of process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), RACI matrices, and policies to support consistency and compliance

  • Ensure audit readiness and alignment with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Deliver timely and actionable reporting on key metrics to support operational transparency and inform strategic decision-making

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; a Master's degree and/or CPA designation is preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, or financial operations, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or within a Shared Services Organization is strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to lead distributed teams, manage change, and drive measurable results in high-volume, deadline-driven environments

  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, business operations, project management, and change management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance attention to detail with strategic thinking

  • Effective at building trust, fostering cross-functional relationships, and collaborating across all levels of a matrixed organization

  • Skilled at influencing stakeholders, navigating organizational dynamics, and constructively challenging the status quo

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly and concisely

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
