Ted Weins Warehouse Associate

**This is a Work Experience position available through Employ NV Youth Hub. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined**

The primary purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to load/unload tires, stack tires, deliver and/or pick up tires and other parts throughout Las Vegas and surrounding areas; a company vehicle is provided. Warehouse Associates should be comfortable driving large vehicles such as flat bed and box trucks; CDL is not required.

General Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Heavy lifting is required: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

· Pulling orders; attention to detail is a must.

· Loading and stacking tires; although heavy lifting is required, specialized equipment is provided.

· Unloading tires; although heavy lifting is required, specialized equipment is provided.

· Must keep warehouse need and tidy at all times.

· Must follow and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards, and ensure the parts department is run in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with Ted Wiens' company policies, procedures and "Quality Standards".

· Must be able to communicate with all company staff and work effectively with management, co-workers and outside vendors. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

· Keep parts department organized and clean, including but not limited to parts inventory and storage, employee safety equipment, labeling and storage of hazardous materials.

· Any and all other duties as assigned by management.
