Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Front-End Estimator to join our collision repair team. This dual-role position is responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service while accurately inspecting and estimating vehicle damage. You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in ensuring a smooth and transparent repair process.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and professionally in person, over the phone, or via email
  • Answer customer inquiries about repair status, insurance claims, and shop services
  • Schedule appointments for estimates and repairs
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in the shop management system
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, adjusters, and vendors
  • Perform preliminary vehicle inspections to assess collision damage
  • Write accurate and detailed estimates using estimating software (CCC)
  • Take and upload vehicle photos into CCC for insurance and estimating purposes
  • Coordinate with estimators to verify repair requirements and parts availability
  • Review repair orders with customers, explaining the scope of work and answering questions
  • Obtain approvals from insurance companies and customers for repair work
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of customer service or front office experience, preferably in an auto body or repair shop
  • Experience with estimating software such as CCC One (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of auto-body repair processes and insurance procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skill
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • I-CAR training or certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of DRP (Direct Repair Program) procedures preferred
