Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct care and support to patients with mental health or substance abuse disorders. This role involves assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient behavior, and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of mental health professionals in clinical settings in multiple locations, including Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Roswell, Truth or Consequences, Santa Clara, and Los Lunas, NM.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in a related field preferred).
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Certification as a Behavioral Health Technician (or equivalent).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates welcome; prior experience in mental health settings is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment approaches, and crisis de-escalation techniques.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, patience, empathy, and physical/emotional resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and document patient behavior, symptoms, and progress.
- Implement behavior modification plans and therapeutic programs.
- Facilitate group activities and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
- Use crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate challenging situations.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure coordinated care.
