Position Overview:

As the Associate Vice President of Operations for the Sports & Social brand, you will play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence of our hospitality and entertainment districts. Reporting directly to the COO, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple venues, ensuring seamless execution of service standards, optimizing efficiency, and maximizing profitability. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to operational teams across multiple venues to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Guest Experience: Champion a culture of guest-centricity and ensure that service standards consistently exceed guest expectations.
  • Financial Performance: Collaborate with finance and revenue management teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity while maintaining quality standards.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term strategic plans for business growth and expansion.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication and collaboration across departments and venues to facilitate teamwork and alignment towards common goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality operations, with a proven track record of success in a multi-unit environment, specifically high volume, full service establishments.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, deliver results, and exceed guest expectations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
