Reports To: Supervisor, Adult Basic Education & College Success Supervisor
LOCATION: Green Bay
STANDARD HOURS: Approximately 24 hours/week. Schedule to be determined at the time of hire between the hours of Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm and Friday's between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Flexibility is required.
MINIMUM STARTING RATE OF PAY: $15.00 per hour
This position is grant funded for 1 year with the possibility for renewal.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role serves as the primary point of contact between Adult Education and the general public. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across all mediums, works independently under pressure, and adapts quickly to changing priorities. Working collaboratively with support and administrative staff, this position handles daily office tasks, provides faculty support, and delivers high-quality customer service to students and the public. The role requires proficiency in data entry across multiple platforms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet internal and external customers, in person or via phone and email. Serve as the liaison between the customer and the appropriate individual regarding GED/HSED, English Language Learner (ELL), and Career Pathways Bridge (CPB) programming.
- Act as resource person for faculty, administration and staff. Assist with classroom access, printing, supplies, room scheduling, etc.
- Efficiently manage administrative tasks and support daily operations with minimal supervision
- Design and develop reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and databases from verbal direction, rough draft or supervisor's direction.
- Manage text campaigns to students including the development of messages, sending messages, and responding and taking action based on responses from students.
- Serve in a cross-functional capacity to assist and support all Adult Education staff, faculty, and administration.
- Coordinate and communicate with all other office staff to ensure in constant sharing of information and quality of service to customers.
- Enter and maintain accurate student data such as enrollments, attendance, test scores, etc. in the client reporting system for GED/HSED and ELL programming.
- Monitor and track students by entering intakes and exits in the client reporting system.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1 years working in an office environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Comfortable with Outlook calendars, tasks and basic email function.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Administrative Assistant or Office Assistant degree is preferred.

- Extended Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings
- Mobility: Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment, tools, or controls.
- Visual and Auditory: Ability to read documents and communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Light Lifting: Capability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
