Part- Time Custodian

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing and sanitizing floors, restrooms, and common areas.
• Washing walls and cleaning glass partitions, and mirrors and removing rubbish.
• Empty and clean breakroom coolers.
• Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper waste disposal.
• Using and maintaining cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other specialized machinery.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Deep clean and disinfect breakroom, restrooms, and high touch areas regularly.
• Ensuring restrooms and cleaning stations are adequately stocked with necessary supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, gloves).
• Clean spills using a sweeper, shovel, or any other equipment as necessary.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report low stock to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company cleanliness and safety standards.
• Additional tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Must be able to operate a floor scrubber and basic cleaning equipment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and stay on task.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace cleanliness.
• Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Production facility with loud machinery and varying temperatures

SCHEDULE

• Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
• 12p – 8p (56 hours per pay-period)
