POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Industrial Maintenance Technician directly supports the company's mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining all plant equipment, installations, and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure that production has everything needed for assembly when necessary. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems, ordering replacement parts, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely repairs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ensure operation of production machinery/equipment and mechanical equipment by completing all corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Analyze issues and interpret necessary diagrams, blueprints, operational and manufacturing manuals for equipment repair.
- Maintain tooling, equipment, inventories and requests for repair or replacement.
- Complete all maintenance documentation including relevant monitoring for meetings, action plans, tool inventory updates, and supplies.
- Ability to submit requests of tooling, equipment, consumables, spare material, etc. as required for production repairs.
- Perform periodic activities (inspections and verifications) for all common elements for all production centers.
- Work with external contractors to accomplish tasks of manufacturing projects.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts by providing suggestions to enhance processes and procedures.
- Engage in effective work planning processes utilizing work orders and effective work plans based on plant requirements.
- Additional roles and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- High School diploma / GED or equivalent (Required).
- Vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical fields (preferred).
- Proper and safe utilization for both hand and power tools.
- 3-5 years in maintenance field (preferred)
- User-level knowledge of office software, particularly Word and Excel.
- The ability to take responsibility, initiate tasks independently, and be proactive.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a structured work environment.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical administered by a medical examiner to ensure the ability to safely perform job functions and meet the physical demands of the position.

- Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job-related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English-speaking supervisors and team members.
