Job Description
As Sr. Software Engineer II, you'll support operational sustainment and maintenance of the government customer's fielded capabilities to include software, models, algorithms, interfaces, integrations, Kubernetes environments, host software, database management, test, security patching, and M&S DevSecOps Platform.

What you'll do:
- Ensure legacy operational sustainment of all operational training, simulation, and stimulation artifacts.
- Provide legacy CR/DR changes, GitLab ticket changes, User priorities, exercise urgent DRs, OS, fielding changes, exercise changes, etc.
- Design and architect legacy ASCCE and Federation fielding and integration support.
- Support to transition engineering all attributes marked for transition.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Must have an active DoD SECRET Clearance.
- You have 7 years of experience in software development using languages and systems such as C++ and Python, with a focus on simulation frameworks like AFSIM.
- You are skilled in building and integrating web services, database systems, and web application development.
- You have experience working with cloud-based services (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) and/or RESTful architectures.
SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $191,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
