Description
Job Purpose
Aquawolf LLC. has immediate need for a structural engineer in Denver, CO to perform structural design of overhead power transmission line structures. Candidates must be proficient in general structural engineering practice and possess of 0-5 years of experience.
Qualifications
Supervision
Each employee is responsible for ethical and professional behavior in conjunction with their job and day-to-day operations. This position does not have direct supervision over other individuals, although they may be involved in mentoring and assisting trainees and/or interns.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Learn the basics of structural engineering as it relations to transmission line engineering including but not limited to:
- Lattice Tower Design and Analysis
- Steel Pole Design and Analysis
- Foundation Design and Analysis
- Follow QA/QC protocol
- Follow sound project management practice
- Create necessary construction documents
- Create computer models on industry standard software
- Travel to client offices and job sites
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- BS in Civil Engineering
Certifications & Licenses:
- EIT preferred
Experience:
- 0-5 years
Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic civil and structural engineering. Job specific training will be included.
Salary Range:
- $83,000-$112,000
