Role Purpose
The Video Producer is a skilled hands-on creator and a capable project manager. They lead the end-to-end development and production of video and multimedia content across our digital platforms--generating ideas, scripting, filming, recording, and editing high-impact products that drive engagement and advance our mission.
Key responsibilities
Lead video and multimedia production from concept to completion, including scripting, directing, filming, recording, and editing.
Create original videos as a sole producer--handling everything from pre-production to final delivery.
Produce engaging, platform-specific content for digital and social channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok).
Source, commission, and manage relationships with freelance producers, editors, and other vendors; oversee contracts, budgets, and timelines.
Balance multiple projects simultaneously, managing logistics, creative direction, and deadlines across a range of deliverables.
Collaborate with digital and content strategists to identify timely opportunities for impactful video storytelling.
Maintain and organize multimedia assets, develop production workflows, and contribute to evolving best practices.
Support campaigns and strategic initiatives with both short- and long-form video content.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate
Substantial professional experience producing video and multimedia content for digital platforms, including filming, editing, recording, and post-production
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience as a sole producer-ideating, scripting, filming, and editing original video projects
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, with experience meeting deadlines under pressure
Experience working with external vendors, freelancers, and production partners-including commissioning, contracts, and quality control
Familiarity with digital and social media formats and trends (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok), including optimizing video content for engagement
Proficiency in video production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent) and basic motion graphics
Experience working in cross-functional teams and communicating creative ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The salary range for this role in the US is $113,000-127,000 (USD). The final offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience.
