The Purpose:
Candidate will work individually as well as part of a team in the warehouse and shipping and receiving department. Responsibilities include driving multiple types of equipment, with training and certification provided by employer. The ability to work efficiently to meet project standards and deadlines is a must.
The Job:
- Moving equipment and/or materials in a shop environment using material handling equipment.
- Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment, including forklift, scissor lift, stand up lift, etc.
- Transport items to and from designated areas.
- Load and unload designated trucks.
- Effectively work within a team to complete job within deadline.
- Ability to successfully pull multiple orders simultaneously.
- Willingness to work overtime, when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Employee is regularly required to hear and talk.
- Employee is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Employee understands that the position is very active, and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- Employee understands the position requires remaining in a normal seated position for prolonged periods of time.
- Employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds.
- Employee must possess specific vision abilities, to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics listed here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job:
- Frequent exposure to high levels of dust and particles
- Higher than average noise levels due to multiple power tools being used at once
The Person:
- High school diploma or GED and or equivalent
- Forklift certification and/or ability to obtain employer certification is required.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job
- Construction background helpful, but not necessary
- Exhibit industry experience helpful
- Reliable transportation
