Dental Technical Advisor I

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller Dental Lab in St Louis, MO for a Full Time Technical Advisor.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Process outgoing calls to customer in a timely manner.
• Facilitate assigned technical area technical calls.
• Coordinate technical training with vendor representatives for the laboratory team members.
• Complete an “administrative quality inspection” on all cases, including checking items on the work ticket, prescription, billing accuracy, and adding personal notes where appropriate.
• Analyze remakes by customer and ensure any issues are resolved.
• Participate in department meetings to share customer feedback.
• Review Final QC data with department manager for resolution.
• Work with sales team members and assist with programs as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English.
• Must have computer skills including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in a dental environment.
• Preferred: Production experience.
• Preferred: Customer Service experience.

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

• All office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Perform tasks at multiple workstations.
• Standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
