PURVIS is looking for a Logistician to be part of a team working on-site at client location. We are seeking a motivated individual to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
- Review acquisitions data for accuracy and submit recommendations for improvement of the material purchasing process
- Generate Universal Material Masters, if requested.
- Research material information and orders through Haystack, OneTouch, ERP, OSP/WARP, etc.
- Enter customer provided data into the material management system to initiate the acquisitions process.
- Utilize WARP to generate Material Transfer Requests (MTR) for deliveries and shipments.
- Provide data analysis and collection for compilation of multiple reports as required by the customer.
- Use and update locally built database for tracking applicable data.
- Review and update data daily to track all material acquisitions to delivery.
- Provide material order status updates to customers.
- Assist in other areas of material management as needed to include but not limited to analyzing inventory levels or participating in physical inventories.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Experience with Haystack, One-Touch, N-ERP, SAM and OSP/WARP is a plus.
- Intermediate skills with MicroSoft Word, and PowerPoint is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
- MS Access database construction experience is a plus.
- Sharepoint PowerBI experience is a plus
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
- Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of the customer organization. Candidate must have effective communication skills and develop relationships with customers.
- Attention to detail is a critical required skill to support accuracy, and quality standards.
- Must be able to successfully work independently as well as in a team environment with customers, peers, and support personnel.
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.
