We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Manager, Product Owner - Master Data Management (MDM) to help drive the development and execution of our enterprise master data strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of MDM, this role will lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of MDM capabilities that enable trusted, governed, and high-quality data across the organization.
This role is a critical part of our enterprise data transformation and will work cross-functionally with business leaders, digital teams, IT, and solution architects to implement scalable and sustainable master data solutions.
Responsibilities
The Role's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and manage the MDM product backlog; define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria across domains (e.g., customer, supplier, product, reference).
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with MDM development teams, integration partners, and QA to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with data stewards, business domain leads, and application owners to gather requirements and translate them into actionable MDM capabilities.
- Serve as the voice of the business in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
MDM Strategy Execution
- Support the Senior Director of MDM in implementing roadmap initiatives and supporting enterprise data governance programs.
- Help define and enforce data standards, data quality rules, and domain-specific business rules.
- Contribute to the rollout of data stewardship workflows and change management practices.
Governance & Data Quality
- Partner with IT and Compliance teams to enforce policies and processes around data quality, ownership, and lineage.
- Monitor and report on key data quality and vitality metrics, including completeness, consistency, accuracy, and usage of master data; use insights to prioritize backlog items and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline MDM processes and improve user experience.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging MDM technologies to inform ongoing product evolution.
Skills
- 6-8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in enterprise data, MDM, or digital product delivery.
- Hands-on experience working with MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, Stibo, Semarchy, SAP MDG).
- Strong understanding of data management disciplines, including data governance, stewardship, quality, and metadata.
- Proven ability to write user stories and manage Agile backlogs.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Advanced degree or industry certification is a plus.
