The Opportunity:
To collaborate with Ohio School Plan clients to identify and provide necessary resources to implement recommended corrective action to better control potential and/or existing liability, property and fleet exposures.   
In This Opportunity You Will Execute On:
  • Provide training content to Ohio School Plan partner associations (BASA, OSBA, OASBO etc.)
  • Complete comprehensive risk management reports for Ohio School Plan members using on-site visits and inspections, interviews, phone calls, surveys, etc.
  • Make appropriate recommendations that will mitigate or lesson the potential negative impact of any observed hazards
  • Conduct policy and procedure reviews as needed and requested
  • Provide technical assistance and appropriate resource material to assist plan members
  • Review contracts as requested, for pertinent risk management language and clauses
  • Provide training and education modules for members, staff and sales agents
  • Participate with sales agents on pre-sales calls as requested
  • Respond to requests from the underwriting and claim departments as requested
  • Stay current on local, state and federal news topics that are pertinent to the type of members supported by Hylant Administrative Services

 

In This Role You Will Need: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, associates or higher-level degree preferred.
  • 1-2+ years of industry and/or field experience relating to loss control, risk management, or safety; or any equivalent combination of training/experience which provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills required for this position.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
