- This is a hybrid position. Only candidates currently residing within a commutable distance to our Green Bay, WI, Detroit, MI; or Chicago, IL locations will be considered.*

The Director, Clinical Excellence will lead and enhance the quality and effectiveness of our clinical services. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and implementing strategies that promote excellence in patient care, clinical outcomes, and overall healthcare delivery.

Essential Job Duties
- Maintain oversight of the Clinical Training Program in collaboration with Learning & Development, National Program Directors, and subject matter experts. Lead the development and design of program content with Clinical Trainer and Clinical Content Specialist.
- Lead the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines with input and collaboration from clinic Medical Directors and National Program Directors.
- Develop and implement new policies, procedures, and workflows to support access, efficiency, quality initiatives and align with best practices standards. Promote consistency and standardization.
- Oversees the development and implementation of materials, tools, and resources utilized for clinical training and internal clinical audits.
- Identify clinical care compliance trends and areas of potential risk, propose and support the implementation of solutions.
- Collaborate with the Grants Administration team to ensure public funder contractual requirements for clinical care are met.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Provider Builder for Epic workspace.
- Provide direct medical services to people accessing the Vivent Health Medical Center, including HIV, primary care, PrEP and STI treatment. Care includes, but is not limited to a comprehensive medical history, physical exam, assessment and development of a treatment plan. Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies. Provide patient care to meet the total needs of the patient.
- Prescribe or recommend pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies including controlled substances as the law permits.
- Comply with the Vivent Health's Corporate Compliance Standards of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Required and preferred knowledge and experiences to succeed.
Education:
Master's degree in Nursing Family Practice or Physician Assistant Studies
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with a focus on clinical quality and excellence
Minimum of 3 years of experience with primary care delivery in a clinical setting
Experience in leading quality improvement initiatives and managing clinical programs.
Technical Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing Epic
Certified Epic Provider Builder or willingness to complete certification within 12 months
Licensure:
Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide clinical teams towards achieving excellence.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, physicians, and external stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically and implement initiatives that contribute to the overall success of clinical services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and drive evidence-based decision-making.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Skill in managing change and navigating through transitions in clinical practices and procedures.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving healthcare landscapes, industry trends, and organizational priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills to address complex clinical challenges and optimize patient outcomes.
Ability to build positive relationships with clinical staff, leaders, and external partners.

Salary:
Starting at $130,000/annually (Depending on Experience)
