Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to support our IT and project management teams. This part-time role is ideal for a student or recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in IT operations, project coordination, and process documentation. You'll assist with small IT projects, track tasks and milestones, and help document business requirements and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
- Support IT and project teams with task tracking, meeting notes, and project documentation
- Help maintain and update project plans, status reports, and issue logs
- Participate in meetings with business users, vendors, and IT staff
- Conduct basic research and compile information to support project decisions
- Help document current-state processes and suggest improvements
- Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation
- Support data entry, audit, or cleanup tasks as needed during implementations
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Basic understanding of IT systems, project life cycles, and/or business processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SharePoint or Teams is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with supervision
- 4 year college Junior with at least a 3.5 GPA.
