Job Description

Darigold is seeking a Supply Planner to join our team. The Supply Planner plays a central role in production and inventory planning by developing, maintaining and publishing a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and inventory reporting for Darigold's consumer products.

The Supply Planner will gain a deep understanding of the consumer products business and make recommendations on production strategies to leadership. Success in this role is determined by the ability to manage supply plans and scenarios, build strong cross-functional relationships and think creatively within a complex business environment to maximize business results through superior customer order fulfillment. Additionally, this position has the opportunity to influence the business at a strategic level by maintaining and enhancing capacity models, contributing to Darigold's monthly supply review process and refining business planning processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide a production plan to plants considering customer demand profiles, inventory age, plant capacities, materials availability and other factors.
  • Build + maintain intermediate range (12-18 month) supply models of the business, identifying gaps in capabilities vs demand and making recommendations to leadership of reconciliation options.
  • Provide inventory forecasts to leadership based on the supply and demand plan to support strategic inventory management decisions.
  • Own capacity modeling process for your respective plants based on demonstrated capabilities and expected future step-changes.
  • Partner with Sales, Logistics and Customer Service to ensure orders are shipped in full and on time.
  • Partner with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service and Demand Planning to ensure supply is consumed within its saleable life and minimize inventory write-downs.
  • Maintain master item data integrity to ensure accurate reporting and high-integrity plans within the organization.
  • Learn the processes and duties of other planning areas to provide backup as needed.
  • Manage seasonal SKU activity and plan for inventory builds.
  • Continuously improve effectiveness of cross-cutting decision making and execution processes in order to meet organizational financial and service objectives.
  • Maintain ownership and accuracy of master data for the Supply Planning organization and works cross functionally with IT as necessary to maintain.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations or Supply Chain.
  • 3+ years of experience: Manufacturing Field in an Analytical or Planning role.
  • 3+ years of experience: Supply Planning, Inventory Management or Supply Chain.
  • Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Skilled in other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Possesses strong analytical capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-up/follow through skills with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to prioritize competing assignments and meet established deadlines.
  • APICS CPIM certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Operations or Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Experience using reports in Microsoft PowerBI is preferred.
  • Experience running/writing queries in SQL is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Query and Power Pivot is preferred.

  • Compensation range: $85,592 - $128,388 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge, and skills)
