Job Description

Beyond the Curb Landscaping is a locally respected landscape maintenance and installation company serving the Northeast Metro Atlanta area. Since our founding, we've been committed to delivering the highest quality workmanship, top-tier customer service, and innovative solutions that help our clients enjoy and enhance their outdoor spaces.

We are currently seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $23 to $27 per hour, based on experience. Requirements for the Irrigation Technician include:

  • At least 1+ years of residential irrigation experience

  • Working knowledge of irrigation systems and components, including timers, valves, and heads

  • Familiarity with electrical systems as they relate to irrigation controls

  • Ability to interpret and work from irrigation plans and blueprints

  • Experience with 2-wire systems is a plus

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Responsibilities for the Irrigation Technician include:

  • Installing, inspecting, and maintaining irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties

  • Troubleshooting and repairing system components such as valves, heads, pipes, and controllers

  • Adjusting system settings to ensure proper coverage and water efficiency, especially during drought restrictions

  • Programming and maintaining irrigation controllers based on seasonal patterns in Georgia

  • Performing routine system audits and identifying opportunities for water conservation

  • Winterizing and starting up systems according to regional best practices

  • Interpreting blueprints and layout plans to guide accurate installation and repair

  • Maintaining detailed service records for all work performed

  • Ensuring all work complies with local water use regulations and environmental standards

  • Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams regarding service needs and recommendations

  • Other duties as assigned
