The Facilities Technician II is responsible for the development, and long-term maintenance of Infrastructure related databases. This position will support Engineering & Construction teams with data analytics, cost tracking, and pipeline regulatory compliance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety and environmental policies and procedures
Create cost estimates and AFEs
Complete assigned tasks in SiteView, SAP, and WellView
Assist engineering staff in compiling data for facility and pipeline projects
Assist Facilities team in cost tracking
Audit various workflow processes to ensure data quality and fidelity
Act as an application champion and provide application support to the field personnel including training and troubleshooting
Ability to work well with multiple teams internal and external to the Facilities Department.
Assist engineering staff in compiling data for pipeline audits, new construction, and repairs
Manage payments to pipeline regulatory bodies
Other duties as assigned
Some travel to field locations and training sites
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum (2) years of Facilities experience and (3) years of oilfield experience
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Demonstrated ability to perform basic computer skills and to learn company-specific applications
The ability to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle
Knowledge of oilfield terminology and operations
Demonstrated ability to perform basic computer skills and to learn company-specific applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SiteView, Carte, WellView, Spotfire, Powerpoint, and Excel
Experience with pipeline regulations, construction, repair, or abandonment
Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to take on additional responsibilities as the needs of the team evolve
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
