We are a consumer business operating online and in our over 30 retail stores (DC, NYC, Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago) – and growing. We operate two manufacturing facilities in Richmond, KY and Winchester, VA that allow us to deliver a high-quality custom product at an affordable price with a quick turnaround. We exist, grow, and ultimately own the market by delighting customers who trust and value us.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure all inbound receipts are processed accurately and in timely manner
- Supervises warehouse inventory and maintains database. Ensures items are being transacted out of inventory properly.
- Assists with daily cycle counts and recounts. Maintains non-inventory log.
- Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
- Compiles supplies needed for our retail stores, ensures they tasks are executed in a timely manner.
- Manages and maintains organization with filing of shipping/receiving documents.
- Flexibility to work overtime for end of month inventory, and as needed to support the business
- Monitors shipping area to ensure customer orders are being shipped on time, and assists as needed
- Utilize various computer programs to ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, including Excel, Google Sheets, and WMS/ERP systems such as NetSuite.
- Will work closely with retail stores. Must be comfortable communicating via Slack and phone.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with computers, cell phones, and RF scanners, experience with NetSuite is a plus..
- Basic understanding of/or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
- Experience with NetSuite, Bringg, Slack, Microsoft Office, and Google suite is a plus.
- Forklift and driving experience a plus.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Ability to move around the warehouse.
