Controls Project Engineer
Summary
Seeking a Controls Project Engineer. This person will take on a lead position in the implementation of conveyor control systems. This position requires experience with the design, integration, debug, and startup for the electrical/control systems.
Responsibilities
• Lead Engineer for the design, manufacture, installation, start-up, and commission for an Automated Conveyor System.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of three years experience designing PLC control systems.
• Thorough understanding of 24v DC, 120v AC, 240v AC and 480v AC electrical circuits, in both single and three phase.
• Thorough understanding of VFD motor control.
• Ability to manage time and priorities.
• Ability to work in a team environment on multiple tasks.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel within North America including Mexico.
• Experience with AutoCAD
Preferred Qualifications
• BSEE preferred
• Experience with Conveyor Systems for the Automotive Manufacturing
• Familiar with GM, Ford, and Stellantis (FCA) Electrical Controls Standards
• Experience with Eplan P8

• Control RSLogix 5000
• Armorstart Motor Controllers
• Powerflex Drives
• DeviceNet and Ethernet communications
• PLC programming
• Control Logix and Guard Logix programming
• Panelview programming
