Compensation: $60,000-$70,000
Location: Omaha, Nebraska - Hybrid
The job:
As an account manager at Buildertrend, you will help builders get real value from the tools they use every day to run their business. This role exists to protect and grow customer relationships by making sure customers feel heard, supported and confident in how they use Buildertrend. Your work directly impacts retention, revenue and the long-term success of builders who rely on our platform to stay organized and profitable. After six to 12 months, success looks like trusted customer partnerships, strong renewal health and customers who can clearly connect Buildertrend to better business outcomes.
What you will do:
Guide new and existing customers through onboarding, discovery and training to help them use Buildertrend with confidence.
Build strong relationships by understanding customer goals and aligning platform features to their business needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, including issue resolution and escalations.
Lead strategic business reviews that track progress, highlight value and plan for future growth.
Use account data and health indicators to anticipate risks, prevent churn and recommend improvements.
Identify and support upsell or cross-sell opportunities that align with customer goals.
Who you are and what you need:
2+ years of experience in account management, with a proven track record of success in managing and coaching accounts required.
Highschool diploma required, bachelors degree preferred.
Experience working with CRM and customer success tools such as Salesforce and Gainsight preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust across all customer levels.
Organized and comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities.
Experience with construction, SaaS or builder-focused customers is a plus.
