Now Hiring for an Accounting Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will participate in payroll operations and contribute to various accounting functions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for accuracy and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain payroll systems, including updates related to new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
- Collaborate with Payroll Supervisor, HR, Legal, and Operations on payroll issues.
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare reports for management.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Accounting
- Audit, verify, and post Daily Sales.
- Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and other reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, or opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and general accounting.
- Proficiency with payroll systems and accounting systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Maintain Confidentiality of all company records.
Preferred:
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
- Experience working with multi-state payroll.
- Familiarity with Paylocity or R365.
