About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant for the Client Trust Accounting department. This role will support the Department Head of Client Trust Accounting while also floating across the department to fill in the gaps as needed on day-to-day matters. There is an amazing opportunity for growth with potential to become a Client Trust Accountant.

Duties

  • Assist in creating and editing invoices.
  • Assist in processing payments including (making copies, scanning, mailing out checks and pay stubs, etc.).
  • Assist with conducting post-job check-ins with clients.
  • Maintain and update client files and start work documents (I9, W9, W4, etc.).
  • Assist with entering bookings and various tasks assigned by Agent Assistants as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Learn the needs of the department and support where appropriate.
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferably within business, finance, or related fields. 
  • Basic payroll and accounting work/ internship experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with trust accounting preferred but not required.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in finance and accounting preferred.
  • Savvy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Meticulous and accurate.

Compensation

$21/hour + Full Benefits
