Accounting Specialist 1st Shift Grand Island, NE | $22/hour DOE | Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PMReady to be the backbone of a growing operation? This is more than just payroll and AP/AR;you ll be a trusted partner across accounting, HR support, and operations. What You ll Do Payroll & HR Support Process payroll from start to finish (time cards, checks, deductions) Track employee attendance, performance, and vacation time Prepare and file payroll tax payments and quarterly payroll tax reports Prepare W-2s and 1099s at year end Administer group insurance and 401(k) plans Accounting & Reporting Handle all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions Invoice customers, post payments, enter AP documents, and issue checks Submit monthly tax statements Complete monthly AR/AP closeouts Run weekly sales reports Post daily labor sheets Administrative & Operational Support Distribute daily mail Create maintenance work orders Assist the Production Manager with data entry as needed What We re Looking For High School Diploma (required) Accounting experience (required) Strong computer skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism Compensation & Schedule Pay: $22.00/hour (DOE) Shift: 1st Shift Hours: Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM Why You ll Love Working Here Stable, full-time schedule your evenings and weekends are yours Hands-on role with real impact across the company Supportive team environment where your skills matter Ready to apply?
