Job Description

POSITION Accounting Clerk Position Type: Temporary Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (32Hrs/Week) Assignment Length: Approximately 6-Months, possibly longer. DESCRIPTION Under direct supervision, various clerical accounting duties performed in the preparation, processing, of Request for Tenancy Approvals; including rent reasonableness. Process rent increases timely and answer any incoming calls from property managers and property owners. Provide phone coverage and customer service support, including in-person customer service. Perform clerical and simple accounting tasks such as maintaining financial records and assisting with general accounting and administrative duties. REQUIREMENTS Ability to operate a computer and office equipment (e.g., printer, copier, calculator). Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word), or other related software. Ability to provide attention to detail. Ability to provide excellent customer service skills Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with vendors and coworkers. Ability to solve problems and make recommendations. Desired Qualifications Accounting experience a plus (i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable). INDH
