Job Description
The Accounting Manager oversees daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures while providing leadership to the accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the monthly close process, financial reporting, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and guidance.
Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with auditors and support regulatory filings.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Partner with leadership to support strategic financial planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
