A day in the life:

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the accounting and compliance functions of the Company's subsidiaries around the world. Responsible for the audit process in assigned countries due to the region's unique regulatory and cultural nuances. The intricate tax laws and financial reporting requirements in assigned countries necessitate a dedicated professional to oversee the audit activities and ensure compliance and accuracy.

The impact you'll make:

  • Entail hands on management of international accounting and reporting, working closely with worldwide subsidiaries.
  • Manage the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reserves,

intercompany transactions, and maintenance of Company chart of accounts.

  • Coordination of 3rd party accounting service providers including regular communication with 3rd part firm, reviewing the quality of services provided, establishing closing calendars, reviewing US GAAP to local GAAP reconciliation provided by 3rd party firms and general control requirements.
  • Monitor global compliance with corporate accounting policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate country specific statutory, audits, and tax filings.
  • Coordination of with global shared services departments (AP, AR, inventory).
  • Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts.
  • Manage a team of senior accountants and staff accountants in a positive work environment.
  • Provide timely trend and flux analysis.
  • Provide schedules for quarterly 10Q, 10K filings, and for Board presentation.
  • Oversee and manage the international external audit process.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
  • More than 6 years of accounting experience ( experience required to be combination of public accounting in a large or medium accounting firms and/or corporate accounting in a publicly traded or large privately held company ( Minimum 2 years must be in a managerial or supervisory role ).
  • Beneficial to have 1-2 years of international accounting experience.
  • Computer Skills required: Advanced excel knowledge and SAP experience.
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast paced accounting environment ( being able to handle different projects and timelines effectively at the same time)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred
  • Fluent in English, any other foreign language is beneficial.

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $103,000 - $135,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
