Responsibilities:

  • Develops and strengthenslong termrelationships with clients.

  • Orchestrates and implements new client processes and handles theinitialset-up of 3rdparty applications that the firm and client will use to collaborate for ongoing monthly engagements.

  • Perform client onboarding in compliance with the Outsourced Finance and Accounting Services (OFAS) standard onboarding process.

  • Works with the Directors to schedule client jobs andmonitorjobs to ensure they are on time and on budget, quicklyidentifyingissues and working with the team to findan appropriate solution.

  • Review work in process and perform billing on assigned jobs.

  • Supervise, train, andassistOFAS associates with regards to accounting services for clients in preparing workpapers, entering transactions into accounting system, performing monthly financial statement reconciliations, and preparing engagement correspondence with the client.

  • Review and perform, when necessary, all client work to ensure it isaccurateand compliant with the scope of the engagement. 

  • Identifyout ofscopework and communicate with client, if possible, beforecommencingtheout of scopework.

  • Adopts, champions, and improves the OFAS standard processes and procedures.

  • Maintenance and ensuring internal compliance of the OFAS standard processes and procedures, as well as any client directed processes that need to be followed.

  • Manage unexpected and sometimes urgent client matters as they arise. 

  • On time delivery with regards to internal and external deadlines.

  • Recommend opportunities for improvement ofclient’sprocesses.

  • Run custom financial reports on a regular basis atrequestof internal or external customers.

  • Preparation of client KPIs and other management reports.

  • Budgeting and forecasting projects as needed byclient.

  • Direct contact with 3rdparty vendors for routine clientaccountand support matters.

  • Serves asliaisonbetween the client and the tax team toassistin information gathering.

  • Have a clear understanding of the firm's and the OFAS practice policies and procedures and a general knowledge of firm products and servicesin order tooffer value added services to the client.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financepreferred.

  • Adapts easily to learning new software applications anddemonstratesproficiencywith core applications.

  • Efficient entry of transactions with average or above-average data entry time realizations and rates of accuracy.

  • Able and willing to learn and usenew technologysoftware skills efficiently.

  • 5-7 years accounting services experience, with 2-3 years of managing staff, related to financial statement reconciliations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end financial statements/general ledger through trial balance.

  • Knowledge and experience with various software packagespossessingthe ability to easily learn new software applications.Positionwill work primarily with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Bill.com, a variety of payroll providers, MicrosoftOffice applications including Teams.

  • Has obtained applicable software certifications.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask with ease and professionalism across a variety of industries in afast-pacedenvironment. 

  • Project management skills are critical with the ability to manage unexpected and sometimes urgent client matters as they arise.

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff.

  • Client-centric approach to all matters.

  • Team playerapproachto allow for cross functional assignments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills via telephone, video, and email.

  • Unrelenting commitment to client satisfaction.

  • Works with confidential client matters, requires ability tomaintainconfidentiality.
