The Mining Technology & Global Sales Support Business Resource team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant. Join us and partner with Caterpillar's Mining Technology, Autonomy & Electrification commercial teams.

This position will be responsible for Commercial Deal Support, OIA Reporting and Technology Profitability trends. This position will also work closely with other workstreams and functional areas across Resource Industries providing accounting support on various programs and projects. You will work closely with leaders within the MTES Product Group and peers within the RISST and ICS Finance teams.

What You Will Do:

• Support monthly financial planning and analysis
• Support OPACC Improvement Agenda (OIA)
• Partner with the business to provide deeper strategic insights and solve challenges with a customer-oriented mindset
• Influence our finance culture by demonstrating desired behaviors, including but not limited to continuous improvement
• Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results
• Drive business decisions through insightful analysis of customer needs and product profitability

What You Have:

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understand the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high level of precision.
• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; capacity to determine root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions to resolve those problems.
• Effective Communication: Utilize effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; capable of accurately analyzing situations and reaching productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools for financial reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations as well as read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
• Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation

Top Candidates Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
• Financial Reporting & Analysis experience

Additional Info:

• This position can be located in our Tucson, AZ or Peoria, IL offices
• Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

• International and Domestic travel up to 5%

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
