Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Acute Inpatient Services
Location: LancasterContract: Temporary
Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in Lancaster. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting, supporting patients through their recovery and ensuring safe, timely discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment.
- Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
- Promote independence and functional recovery for patients.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in acute inpatient care.
- Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
