QC Specialist- Manufacturing

Job Summary: In this role you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufactured building envelope products, including glazing systems, metal panels, and fabricated trims. You will work closely and collaboratively with the production teams to uphold standards and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Requirements
· 1-2 years experience in quality control or related role within a manufacturing/fabrication environment
· Experience with glazing fabrication, metal panel and trim fabrication (building envelope products)
· Familiarity with shop equipment and machinery such as CNC machines, shears, press brakes, power tools
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods of time
· Reliable transportation
· Pass a background check and drug screening
Daily Responsibilities
· Promote and enforce quality production standards and best practices
· Inspect output samples using appropriate tools and methods (e.g., dimension checks, standard comparisons)
· Review blueprints and specifications to ensure product accuracy
· Train and guide team members, and recommend process improvements
· Monitor proper use of tools and machinery while maintaining a strong safety culture
· Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and address quality concerns
· Complete required reports and documentation as needed
· Assist in other tasks and/or other departments as needed
