Job Description

Job Title: Adjunct Faculty- Electrical & Computer Engineering- IT&C 210A & B

Posting End Date: November 18, 2025

Position Start Date:January 7, 2026

Required Degree: Master's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Experience:  5-10 years professional or teaching experience with technologies covered in the class.

Duties/Expectations:

Teach IT&C 210A & B - Web Systems and Security.

  • Instruct students in person during designated class times
  • Provide office consultations and student mentoring
  • Update course materials (lectures/homework/projects)
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on student work in a timely manner
  • Update and administer exams.
  • Oversee teaching assistants

Course Descriptions:  There are two Web Systems and Security courses- IT&C 210A (2-credit term 1 block class) and IT&C 210B (2-credit 2 term block class). They cover the following topics: Web technologies including web development and deployment tools, HTML, CSS, Javascript, session management and security, relational database concepts, architecture, testing and debugging; lifelong learning and written and visual technical communication. Web technologies including secure distributed architecture, web frameworks, document databases, systems administration and security, API development and testing, professional coding practices; life-long learning and written and visual communication.
