Job Description

Job Title: Adjunct Teaching- Design Dept- Teaching-Motion Classes: (DES 280, 380, & 383)

Posting End Date: October 28, 2025

Position Start Date: January 5, 2026

Required Degree: BFA required; MFA in Graphic Design preferred.

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Preferred Experience: Experience with communication with college-level students and collaboration with colleagues in a collegial manner. Teaching technical concepts requires an efficient thinker with a unique and enthusiastic approach to helping students.

Duties/Expectations: Teach undergraduate courses on a part-time basis using department-approved curriculum. Courses include DES 280: Motion Concepts, DESGD 380 Motion Design, and DES 383 Analog Motion or Interdisciplinary Motion courses. The position will require lecturing, creating assignments, grading, critiques, communicating/responding to student emails. Part-time faculty are not required to hold office hours, attend staff meetings, serve on committees, or mentor students.
