About the Role
Mission Tile West is looking for a professional, detail-oriented, and people-loving individual to join our Santa Monica team as an Administrative Assistant – Customer Service. This role is all about being the welcoming face and organized heart of our showroom. If you're someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a talent for keeping things running smoothly — we want to meet you!
You’ll work closely with our sales team, customers, and vendors, playing a key part in the daily operations of our showroom. This is a full-time, in-person position with room to grow for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
· Create First Impressions: Greet clients, visitors, and vendors with warmth and professionalism — in person and over the phone.
· Be the Hub: Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and manage office correspondence with a friendly, can-do attitude.
· Keep It Running: Assist with order processing, data entry, and customer support using our internal systems (we’ll train you!).
· Support the Team: Provide organizational and administrative support to the sales team.
· Stay On Top of Things: Maintain front office organization, supplies, and a welcoming environment for guests.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Mission Tile West began as a small family business in 1984, and while we’ve grown a lot since then, we’ve never lost that family spirit. Founded by John and Dina Adamson and their son Thano—selling handmade Mexican tile crafted by Thano’s Uncle Tony—we’ve always believed in hard work, creativity, and staying true to our roots.
In 1997, Thano’s sister Tisa joined the team as our in-house designer, and today, we’re proud to operate two tile factories, three beautiful showrooms, and represent more than 200 incredible manufacturers. Our team is passionate, close-knit, and full of people who genuinely care about the work they do—and the people they do it with.
