Job Description

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Corporate Finance Administrative Assistant to join our Houston office. In this in-person role, you will provide dedicated administrative support to a specific team of bankers while working in close partnership with another Administrative Assistant in the Houston office. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating effectively with the broader administrative team to ensure seamless coverage and operations.

Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for assigned banking professionals, including complex calendar management and scheduling.

  • Coordinate all logistics for internal and external meetings, including room bookings, catering, and material preparation.

  • Arranging comprehensive domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation.

  • Prepare and process expense reports in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies.

Team Collaboration & Office Operations

  • Partner with the designated peer Administrative Assistant in Houston to manage workflow, share knowledge, and ensure consistent coverage for the team.

  • Collaborate with the broader administrative team across the firm to support department-wide initiatives and best practices.

  • Serve as a liaison between the deal team and internal departments, including IT, Facilities, and HR.

  • Maintain and update client data in Salesforce and other internal systems.

Project & Ad Hoc Duties

  • Assist with the planning and execution of client events, team outings, and internal training sessions.

  • Support special projects related to process improvement or team documentation.

  • Provide backup support to other assistants during peak periods or absences.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, office support, or customer-service role.

  • Post-secondary education preferred.

  • Prior experience or interest in financial services or professional services is a plus.

Skills

  • Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Salesforce and Concur is advantageous.

  • Organization: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize conflicting deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.

  • Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills appropriate for interacting with senior executives and clients.

  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive working relationships.

  • Professionalism: High level of discretion, reliability, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

$24 - $31.25 Hourly
