Job Description
Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Administrative Manager provides office support for all aspects of the Northern Maryland DJS Program Office.
- The Administrative Manager functions as the office receptionist, prepares weekly paperwork, and payroll processing. Also, maintains confidential participant and personnel records.
- Individual must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and maintain a professional manner with staff, families, and other service providers.
- Should be organized, pay attention to detail, have good time management skills, and be computer literate (Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Word Processing and Spreadsheet Software)
- Should have the ability to work well with others, be friendly and have an outgoing personality.
Annual Salary: $ 41,600
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Associates degree in business administration is preferred but not required.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience in an administrative or similar role
- Proficient Computer knowledge is necessary, specific skills will be evaluated upon interview.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Knowledge of using various database type systems is helpful
- Some understanding of insurance, and third-party billing is helpful.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
- Bi-Lingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Availability to work some evenings
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage required.
