Compensation includes a base salary of $29,300.00 - $43,900.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $43,900.00 - $65,900.00.

  • Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and sustained revenue growth.

  • Champion Cox Media’s advertising solutions by educating clients on how data-driven strategies can elevate their brand and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients inleveragingdigital and cross-platform campaigns to build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and achieve business goals.

  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearlyshowcasethe value and impact of Cox Media’s advertising solutions.

  • You’lldevelop and build anexpansivebook of business, combining strategic prospecting—including cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and lead generation—with consultative account management to deliver results.

  • Collaborate with internal teams—including creative, research, anddigital,to deliver seamless campaign execution,optimizeperformance, and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Maintainaccuraterecords of sales activities and client communications in CRM systems.

  • Represent Cox Media with energy and excellence—whetheryou'rein the office managingaccounts,oroutin thefieldprospecting.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, competitor activities and represent Cox Media in the local community to generate leads.

What You Bring

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years’ experience in a related field in lieuof a degree.The rightcandidatecould also have a different combination, such asbachelor’sdegree and 2 years’ experience in a related fieldor;amaster’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience.

  • Proven success in sales/business development:identifyingnew opportunities, building client relationships, and exceeding sales goals.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals and foster long-term partnerships.

  • Ability to use data in the development and sale of a media strategy.

  • Skilled at presenting complex solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment whilemaintaininghigh levelsof client relationships and business excellence.

  • A valid driver’s license,good drivingrecordand reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertin prospecting new business and nurturing existing client relationships through consultative selling and deep digital marketingexpertiseto deliver impactful, customized solutions.

  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic advertising solutions informed by a deep understanding of the evolving digital and media landscape.

  • Proven experience selling multi-platform digital advertising and media solutions, with a strong ability to adoptnew technologiesand approaches in a fast-changing environment.

  • Industry certifications and/or Google Ads certification (formerly AdWords).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment whilemaintainingstrong client relationships and delivering business excellence.

  • Comfort with hybrid work (3 in-office collaboration days per week).
