The impact

The Product Partnerships Lead will manage Method's most critical external relationships-across both infrastructure vendors and data partners. You will own and deepen relationships with strategic partners such as credit bureaus, card networks, and tokenization providers. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities to deepen those partnerships, leading complex negotiations and ensuring the ongoing alignment of vendors' products and services with Method's business needs. Your work will directly impact product delivery, economics, and adoption, enabling Method to grow faster and operate more efficiently.

What you'll do

  • Own and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Method's key & strategic product partnerships: credit bureaus, card networks, and tokenized service providers

  • Understand the current & future business needs to lead complex commercial negotiations across pricing, access, and service-level terms

  • Work cross-functionally to identify business needs and new product/service opportunities that can be leveraged through existing vendor partnerships to drive Method's product roadmap

  • Support partner-driven product initiatives like tokenization, transaction streaming, and real-time updates

  • Lead commercial negotiations with partners focusing on securing favorable terms that align with Method's business objectives

  • Monitor ongoing performance of partners, tracking key metrics related to partner usage, performance, economics, and strategic value

  • Build and document repeatable frameworks for partner onboarding and scaling

  • Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams and vendors to ensure smooth integration of new products and services, meeting timelines and performance expectations

Who you are

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, account management, or strategic business development roles in fintech or financial infrastructure

  • Proven success managing high-stakes external relationships and navigating enterprise partner organizations.

  • Skilled in commercial structuring: pricing, contracts, service levels

  • Familiar with credit data, card networks, tokenization, and financial APIs

  • Excellent cross-functional communication with ability to drive alignment across legal, product, and executive stakeholders

  • Strong problem solver, comfortable managing ambiguity and adapting as product and partner dynamics evolve

  • Strategic thinker that can creatively to identify new business opportunities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on long-term goals and relationships

Extra awesome

  • Experience working at or closely with organizations like TransUnion, Equifax, Visa, American Express and/or Mastercard

  • Prior exposure to embedded finance or infrastructure APIs

  • Comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Familiarity with data access agreements

The annual US base salary range for this role is: $150,000-$200,000.
